Michael is President of both Action Claim Service and Action Claims Administrators. He is a past President of the Arkansas Adjusters Association and Arkansas Association of Mutual Insurance Companies. He has served on committees for The Professional Insurance Agents of Arkansas and is an active member of NAMIC, MAMIC, and The Independent Insurance Agents of Arkansas. Michael graduated from The University of Arkansas, Summa Cum Laude, with a BS in Marketing and Management. He began his claims career in 1995 and opened ACS in 2004. ACS started as a two man operation in Arkansas and has grown to include ACA as well as a 50 plus man crew covering the Southeastern United States.
Amanda is President of Action Claims Administrators and Vice President of Marketing for both Action Claim Service and Action Tribal Administrators.
John D. Moore
John D. Moore is the Vice President of Operations for Action Claims Administrators. Since March 2016, John has been responsible for the operations and development of the TPA portion of the business. Prior to joining ACA, he operated his own consulting firm, Moore Claims & Risk Consulting. Prior to this, he joined CCMSI in January 1996 as a Senior Claim Representative and was quickly promoted to Claim Supervisor. Soon thereafter, he served his clients and co-workers as State Director for Arkansas and Oklahoma. In that position, he was responsible for customer relations and the supervision of all claims staff, as well as claims handling of large exposure claims. Prior to joining CCMSI, he was with CoreSource, Inc. for over three years where he served his self-insured clients as a Senior Claim Representative and later as a Claim Supervisor. He began his claims career in 1990 with the Traveler’s Insurance Company, where he served his self-insured and fully insured clients as a Claims Representative. In addition to his 25 years of workers’ compensation experience, Mr. Moore is experienced in the administration of general liability, professional liability, auto liability and property claims. Mr. Moore holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Arts from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He is an Associate in Claims (AIC) and Associate in Claims-Management (AIC-M) as awarded by the Institutes for CPCU. Mr. Moore is a member of the Arkansas Self-Insurers Association, Alabama Self-Insurers Association, Mississippi Association of Self-Insurers, Oklahoma Self-Insurers Association and Ohio Self-Insurers Association.
Ron Livingston is the VP of Casualty Claims at Action Claim Service, a multi-line independent adjusting firm and third-party administrator providing service throughout the Southeastern USA. For nearly 30 years, Ron has been involved in a variety of capacities in the property/casualty industry, and has worked with Major Insurance carriers, including, Farmers Insurance and Nationwide Mutual Insurance, MGA’s and served as VP of Casualty Claims/Officer for a regional insurance company.
Throughout his tenure, he has rapidly excelled through the ranks, and been involved in handling a wide variety of personal lines and commercial lines claims, including catastrophic injury, fatality, disfigurement, commercial and personal lines litigation, fraud and special investigations. Moreover, he was instrumental in identifying and taking down a large fraud ring estimated at $1.5 – $2.0M per annum. Additionally, he played a key role and served as point person in the establishment of rates, rules and forms for the introduction of Agricultural Workers into the Arkansas market. Ron has been a key member of our expanding casualty operation since 2013.
In his spare time, Ron enjoys spending time with his wife, Heidi of 27 years, as well as hunting, fishing, golf, and the great outdoors in general.
Chad Alexander is the Vice President of Development for both Action Claims Administrators and Action Tribal Administrators.
Carrlie is the Human Resources Director for Action Claim Service.
Jan D. Obert
Jan Obert is Vice President of Property Claims for Action Claim Service. He has a designation of Associate in Claims. With over 20 years of experience as a Multi-line Adjuster focusing on Property, Casualty, and Workers Compensation claims, Jan is a great asset to ACS. Jan is experienced in large and complex property and liability claims. Jan earned his BS in Biology/Chemistry from the University of Central Arkansas. Following completion of his degree, he started at Crawford. Following his employment at Crawford, Jan also worked for Cincinnati and Travelers Insurance. Jan has been married for 20 years with 3 children ages 17,14, and 8. He has served on the Catholic School Board for 3 years, one of which as President. He is a fundraising committee member at Catholic High and a member of Mt. Saint Mary’s Father’s Club. Jan loves to play golf as well as watch his kids play soccer, lacrosse, basketball, and baseball.
